CAMINO DE SANTIAGO - PILGRIMS WAY

Enjoy the experience with all the details taken care of.

Many of us long for a chance to really rest the mind, to take stock... People from over 100 countries make this journey each year on foot, bicycle, donkey, or horseback, for a number of reasons, only some of which are spiritual. Most conclude that it is a moving experience and rewarding in ways they did not anticipate.

Customers Review: "We had a wonderful time. All went according to plan. Even the weather was nice. The hotels were all good.  Especially Hotel Casa Benilde in Palas de Rei. They were so friendly. We had dinner in a local restaurant and that was great. And a lovely breakfast in the hotel the following morning!  Our lowest score would go to Hotel Villajardin in Portomarin. The dinner and  breakfast were rather basic and the shower in the evening was only lukewarm. The walks were through wonderful countryside, so peaceful and so interesting. The long walk of 30 km from Palas de Rei to Arzua was very demanding. Especially when we thought we were nearly there and we had yet several km to go. In the booklet the elevation drawing which finished at Ribadiso led us to believe it was downhill for the last part of the walk but in fact there was a lot of uphill at the end to get to Arzua. We met up with different people along the way, and it was nice the way we kept meeting them in the cafes and in the evenings. Santiago de Compostela is itself beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay there. We stayed on an extra two nights at Hotel La Salle. They were friendly and helpful. We thought it was a marvellous holiday. Many thanks for organising everything so well at short notice. We will recommend you to others."
