All this, along the northern slopes of the Guadarrama Nature Reserve, an area renowned for its wildlife and stunning scenery. Look out for elusive wild bore and deer grazing in the forest!

- Day 1 Arrival at the quaint mountain village of Navafría on the foothills of the Guadarrama Mountains (dinner included).

Day 2 Walk along the Cañada Real Segoviana (ancient drove road) towards the small village of Requijada (breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner included).

Day 3 Stunning walk along old country lanes from Requijada to the beautiful medieval town of Pedraza (breakfast, and picnic lunch included).
13 Km walk

Day 4 One last walk along quiet drove roads and tracks from Pedraza to the mountain village of Gallegos (breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner included).
10 Km walk

Posada de las Vegas, Requijada : Traditional building in an isolated village of extraordinary beauty. Only six double rooms with all the creature comforts and decorated to a high standard with a lot of attention to detail. Own restaurant. English not spoken but very friendly owners very willing to understand.

- Hostería del Arco, Pedraza: Located in the beautifully preserved medieval town of Pedraza, this rural hotel combines comfort with old Castilian rustic style.
